Regular Season Round 15: Nymburk - Opava 82-74

There was a minor upset when 6th rankedOpava (6-7) lost on the road to ninth ranked Nymburk (6-9) 82-74 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian Thomas Stanko (203-2007) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Krystof Davidek (203-2008) accounted for 18 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Vojtech Gronsky (192-2009) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and Matej Koza added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Opava in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nymburk moved-up to eighth place. Loser Opava dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost.
